🍫Let's get sweet and spicy!🌶️

Sweet & Spicy Game Jam  is an 18+ game jam divided into two teams: team Sweet and team Spicy! Both teams create games with NSFW content;however, here's the twist!
Team Sweet is responsible for the stories that start off soft, sweet and wihtout any particularly dark concepts. These games may keep that theme, or turn dark  if they desire.
Team Spicy is responsible for the dark side of the jam- the wild, the taboo, the intense.

While there are teams, it's important to note that there is no prize. The winning team is decided by how well the submissions stay on the team's premise, team theme, and overall theme.

Rules

1. All participants and contributors must be at least 18 years of age.
2. NO AI GENERATED ASSETS, you will be disqualified. Premade assets are permitted as long as you have the permission/license to use them.
3. Do not start any programming or final artwork before the start of the jam! Concept sketches, placeholders, and story outlining are okay, just nothing that is final work.
4. Tag appropriately. You are not restricted in your creation for this jam, however, please tag appropriately for your content so that those who it may upset, trigger, or disturb do not play it.
5. No shock entries. For example, If your kink is non-con, that's fine, but please do not stick non-con into a game without it being tagged as a way to trigger, scare, or shock people. This also implies to non-kinks such as abuse and suicide.
6. Please only submit games that explicitly or implicitly contain NSFW, even if it is not the primary focus of the game.
7. While I don't really care what you make, follow itch.io quality guidelines.
8. Entries must be created for this jam.
9. Both Demos and full games are accepted.
10. Be tasteful. No hate speech or discrimination presented in a positive light.
11. ideally be okay with being on either team, but please let me know if either team is a hard no.
12. Join the discord (linked below). This is to build community and also keep things organized and announce teams!
13. Have fun and don't stress too much!

Rankings

while there is no prize for winning, the jam is ranked on:

Gameplay ~ Even if it's not your cup of tea, do you think it'd be enjoyable for someone else?
Content ~ Is the overall content good?
Narrative ~ Does the story make sense?  Is it entertaining?
Kink ~ Is it kinky in either conventional or unconventional ways?
Covertness ~ Is the game explicit or implicit with its content?
Theme ~ Does the game follow the team and/or overall theme? How well does it do it?
Sexiness ~ Is the NSFW content appealing? Does it make you feel things?
