Blossom Jam's Theme is "Spring" 🌸

So, what does a "Spring" theme even mean? It's up to you, but we have some concepts and suggestions to help get you started. 

Please keep in mind that you are not limited to these!

CONCEPTS + IDEAS:

• Cottagecore Aesthetics
• Healing, Rebirth, and Personal Growth
• Nature (i.e. Butterflies, Flowers, Rabbits)
• Budding Romance
• Farming
• Easter/Spring Equinox
• Anything that makes you think of spring!

Blossom Jam is a comfort jam, we want you to take your time and enjoy developing your submissions.  

There are no judges, prizes, or rankings!

Our rules and guidelines are minimal, but please review them before submitting.

RULES + GUIDELINES:

• You can begin work on projects before the jam has officially started, or use the jam to finish a work-in-progress.
• Projects should fit the theme of "Spring".
• Submitting incomplete projects such as demos is fine!
• You can update your projects after the jam is complete.
• Submissions must be visual novels, kinetic novels, or story-focused games!
• Hateful content, bigotry, extreme violence, and gore are not allowed.
• NSFW submissions are welcome as long as they are labeled properly and do not break itch.io's Terms of Service.
• Content Warnings are necessary when submissions depict mature content (i.e. substance abuse, sexual content, strong language).
• You can submit your game to other jams, as long as you adhere to the rules of both jams!
