About Buddy Up Month
Buddy Up Month is a monthly theme to practice your game development skills. You can join by yourself or with friends. We have a large community of game developers who are keen to learn with you. This is a friendly, non-ranked group to practice your skills and build portfolio pieces.
The theme will be announced in our Discord at the start of the month.

Rules
Can I ______?
Yes, absolutely! You're free to use any engine, any tools, pre-existing code, and any art assets that you have the legal right to use. We only ask that the majority of the game is made during the jam.
Who can enter?
Anyone! Whether you're new to jams or you've been doing them for 10 years, everyone is welcome. We do ask that you join the Discord server, though, which has a minimum age requirement of 13.
What can I make?
Anything, so long as it does not contain nudity, hateful language, or any disturbing visuals - and please avoid excessive strong language and gore. All games must be suitable for everyone aged 13 and up.
No crunch & scope small
Buddy Up Jams are 'No Crunch' game jams. We develop games healthily, meaning we communicate politely and constructively with our teams, while setting our own boundaries and being respectful of our team members' boundaries. Games created should be small prototypes that you would be proud to develop further.
