We are an emerging iGaming studio entering development of our first game. As we gear up for this exciting phase, we are in search of a talented HTML5 Game Developer who is proficient in JavaScript and CSS and has hands-on experience with the Nakama open-source game server. This contract position offers the potential to evolve into a permanent role within our dynamic team.

• Design and develop engaging, responsive, and high-performance game interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Implement game logic and user interactions that align with our design philosophy, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Work collaboratively with our design and development teams to integrate visual and audio assets into the game, optimizing performance across various devices and platforms.
• Utilize the Nakama open-source server to support scalable multiplayer game architectures, ensuring stable and secure player connections.
• Participate in code reviews, adhere to best practices in software development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of bugs and performance issues to ensure the highest quality product.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in game development technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our game offerings.

• Proven experience in HTML5 game development, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Hands-on experience with the Nakama open-source game server, particularly in implementing multiplayer game functionalities.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to translate game design concepts into engaging player experiences.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional game development tools and frameworks such as Phaser, PixiJS, or Three.js.
• Knowledge of web security best practices, particularly in the context of online gaming.
• Previous experience in the iGaming industry or with blockchain/cryptocurrency-related projects.
