Calling all the lost, broken, and unplayable ideas. Everything discarded, unfinished, dreamt but never written. Word docs rusting in a dust-laden folder. Mostly-empty journals with doodles and notes. Put them here.
Something small. Something weird. A poem, a song, a twisted series of words that we call “game.” An odd drawing, a playtest of something never released, a walkthrough of something never seen. The review of a game you’ll never imagine. The play report that drags a game into existence.
Lyric games, ergodic games, literature games, art games, video-game games, dream games, ritual games, dance games, fighting games, a game where we look at the moon and share the secrets she whispers to us.
I want everyone to make at least one “unplayable” game. I want this to be the pit where we cast these magic pdfs, txts, gdocs, mp3s, comics, and htmls. The pit that bubbles and boils and churns and that we can all drink from and gather inspiration. We cast them so that they can become fuel for the next thing. To share what we desire and dream of so that everyone can dream something new.
This jam runs for 1 month. And I want you in. I want you to write something. Now. Today. Upload a jpg of something scrawled on a napkin. Unclog the drain and let your ideas spill out. No holding back.
I want to find the next great experimental game in these submissions. I want to find the line that makes me shiver with delight.
This jam would not be possible with the SnowTTRPG discord server, where we’ve talked about this kind of thing before and will continue to do so for quite a long time

Lost, Broken, Unplayable Rules
Hidden rule: Don’t just repost some older game of yours that you made a while ago. Old, hidden projects are fair game, but this is a jam. We’re in the house together right now slinging paint at one another. Make something NEW!
