Welcome to Sim Jam #2, the second edition of the ultimate simulation game jam! This is your chance to create engaging, immersive, and unique simulation games.
This time, the theme will be announced at the start of the jam! Until then, prepare yourself for anything…
The theme will be announced when the jam begins! You wonโt know what kind of simulation youโll be building until the theme will be revealed
This is a simulation-focused jam, meaning your game should include some form of simulation mechanics. It doesnโt need to be ultra-realistic—you can be creative! Some examples of acceptable styles:
โ Management & economy simulation โ Survival simulation โ Procedural simulation โ Experimental physics-based games โ Creative, comedic, or absurd simulations
You can use any art style โ pixel art, 3D, top-down, low-poly, or even AI-generated visuals (just disclose them!).
TBA
โ Work solo or in a team.
โ You can use any game engine (Unity, Unreal, Godot, GameMaker, etc.).
โ AI-generated assets are allowed, but please mention them in your submission.
โ You can use pre-made assets (sound, textures, code snippets) as long as you have the rights to them.
โ Prototype-friendly! You can start brainstorming or use an old prototype before the jam starts.
๐ซ Whatโs NOT allowed?
This jam is open to all skill levels! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dev, this is a great chance to:
Even if your game isnโt finished or fully polished, submit it anyway! Game jams are about experimenting, learning, and gathering feedback.
