For a chance to appear on the first episode, only a 90 sec video pitch is required (due April 3rd), with a playable prototype being optional. 8 devs will be selected and four will advance to the second episode, each with a $1K prize.
For a chance to appear on the finale and challenge the top 4 from the first episode, a 90 second video pitch is required BUT WE WILL ALSO REQUIRE a playable game prototype (due May 15th) . It must be made in Unity and published to Spatial.io, the first C# based UGC (User-Generated Content) gaming platform for Unity developers, offering social features, monetization, and hosting for free.
Before getting started building your prototype on Spatial, please check out the special requirements when you use the Spatial Unity SDK.

The theme for this program is “Survival Revival” - Survival games with a twist. Create a new game that blends survival with another genre of your choice. Your only other limit is your imagination.
Maybe you stick with what works and make a Horror Survival game, but place it in a unique or unusual environment like an amusement park, old school video store, or an ordinary office call center (except spooky!). Or maybe you’re inspired to create a hardcore Fallout-inspired Post-Apocalyptic Resource Management Survival Sim.
Maybe you combine any OTHER genre with Survival… Survival Puzzle Game! Survival Action Brawler! Survival FPS (I think this is just a Battle Royale actually, but you get the idea), Survival Rhythm Action! Survival Dating Sim!
Episode 1 - Due April 3rd
Finale (episode 2) - Due May 15th - in addition to a video pitch, you'll to need to submit a playable prototype that meets the requirements above.
